About the Lake George Teen Center
Weekly programming
The Lake George Teen Center currently offers programming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays from 2:30 - 5:30pm at the Lake George Community Center.
These days are a time for students to relax, enjoy each others company and decompress after the school day! Snacks are offered daily for the teens.
The facility offers ping pong, board games, video games, cooking, drawing and painting options. The Teen Center is always open to ideas from the teens about different activities that students would like to see take place!
The Community Center
The Town of Lake George Community Center is located at 22 Schuyler Street in Lake George, NY. The building is .8 miles from the Jr.Sr High School, approximately a 15 minute walk.
Although some students opt to walk or use parent drop-off, LGHS offers transportation for students to the teen center. Students must sign-up for the late bus if they are in need of transportation.
Teen Center Director
In August of 2020, Jennifer Dell’olio jumped on board as the Director of the Lake George Teen Center. As the center’s second director to take over since its 2016 founding director, Haley Pogonowski stepped down, Jennifer is working to preserve the core values and original vision that Haley and the Teen Center Board worked so hard to establish.
As a full time School Counselor at the Jr.-Sr. High School, Jennifer has a direct connection with the Lake George teens and is passionate about creating a place for teens to feel connected and supported outside of school. She believes in giving teens the freedom to create, explore and connect with their community through the teen center and provide them an opportunity to make the center their own.
Jennifer works alongside our Assistant Director and the Teen Center Coordinating Team to continue to creatively keep teens engaged.
